BJP Participated in the Commemoration of Eid Al-Adha 2021
Jepara, 20th July 2021 – PT Bhumi Jati Power (hereinafter “BJP”) participated in the event of the commemoration of Eid Al-Adha 2021 (Islamic Holiday) through goat donation for several mosques surround Tanjung Jati B Coal Fired Power Complex (hereinafter “TJB Power Complex”). This event was, as a joint program, participated by the all parties in TJB Power Complex. Total 167 goats have been donated by entire TJB Power Complex, and 20 out of them were provided by BJP.
As an preventive measure to COVID-19, the goats have been handed over directly to beneficiaries without any big ceremony on 15th to 17th July, and all participants strictly followed COVID-19 health protocol such as the usage of mask and keep social distance during handover.
Mr. Ari Wibawa, CSR Manager of BJP, stated “Eid Al-Adha is a moment to share with others. We are now facing difficult situation caused by COVID-19 pandemic, which not only impacts our social life but also community’s economy. We hope that, through this donation, we lighten community’s burden and also strengthen relationship between TJB Power Complex and the surrounding local community”.
Even though COVID-19 outbreak still continues and it adversely affects likelihood of people and community all over the world including surrounding area of TJB Power Complex, BJP continues an endeavour to support local community through various CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) programs.
