BJS Achieved Mobilization Date as 1st Milestone Event
Jepara, 1 January 2019 – PT Bhumi Jepara Service (hereinafter “BJS”), the operation and maintenance company in Tanjung Jati B Unit 5 & 6 Project (hereinafter the “Project”), celebrated New Year’s Day with achievement of Mobilization Date as the 1st milestone event stipulated in the operation and maintenance agreement with PT Bhumi Jati Power (hereinafter “BJP”) as the project company of the Project. Since a part of employees in BJP Jepara office was transferred to BJS as of the same day, so the total employee in BJS has become 20 eventually. BJS has duly started the preparation activity for the future operation and maintenance of the power plant hereupon and will accelerate it with expanding the organization toward the commencement of commercial operation in 2021.
Station Manager of BJS, Mr. Norihito Terada, who was also transferred from BJP, celebrated the achievement of Mobilization Date with the comment, “We are very glad that we successfully achieved this milestone on schedule. There are many things to be done before commencement of commercial operation but I strongly believe that our team can accomplish these tasks in line with our vision and mission.”
During the period to commercial operation, BJS will conduct various preparation activity such as training operators, establishing strategies and procedures, developing operation and maintenance system, procuring necessary goods and services, obtaining necessary permits and licenses, etc. At the same time, BJS also will activate recruitment even more and strive to build up the organization for safe and stable operation in the future.
