BJP-BJS Sport Event
Jepara, (21st August 2023) – PT Bhumi Jati Power (hereinafter “BJP”) and PT Bhumi Jati Service (hereinafter “BJS”) has successfully conducted the commemoration of the 78th Independence Day of Indonesia event among employees on, 21 – 31 August 2023 in the form of sports event.
This event called B-Sportive (BJP and BJS Sports Event) which intended for all employees. The event was conducted 10 days on 21-31 August 2023 at Grha Bhumi Prawean BJP Housing Facility.
These sports carried out become 2 sports categories that can be chosen by employee, which divided become main sports such as Basketball 3 on 3, Billiard, Table Tennis, Badminton, Tennis Court, Futsal, Fun Volley, Virtual Cycling, and fun sport such as Tug war (Tarik Tambang), Clogs (Bakiak), and Sack Race (Balap Karung). In this event, we also conducted fun sport in collaboration with Para Istri Committee (hereinafter “PARIS”) or the community of employee’s wife. Early in the morning, they take an activity such as traditional competitions for children and mothers. They looked happy and having fun in the momentum of welcoming the 78th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia.
With the theme “Sportsmanship, Teamwork, Fun” the enthusiasm shown by all employee in participating in this competition is obvious, where some employee brings their families to watch the competition at the event. During the competition, employee showed sportsmanship in playing according to the theme carried.
On the 31st of August, in the Grha Bhumi Prawean Gym Hall, the closing agenda is carried out after working hours. The agenda is closing of the sports event and conducting the awarding of medals to the employees. This event was attended by employee, family and management and filled by the BJS band as entertainment fillers in this event.
In his speech, Pak Yandamairy as the Chairman Sport Event expressed appreciation to all committees which already conducted well organized sports events. He said, that in this event, it is hoped that the Employees can enjoy the sports, being motivated, and got refresh, and return to support work. In addition, he hopes that kinship and closeness between employees can be improved.
Following the agenda, Mr. John Smart as Station Manager in his speech said congratulated all employees who have participated and enlivened this BJP - BJS sporting event. Hopefully, employees can be refreshed and motivated to work again.
Mr. John added, that the total number of employees who participated in this event was 175 people these years, he hoped that next year, all employees could participate in this useful activity and take advantage of this moment to exercise, celebrate together, and get back in shape after a complicated work.
