Joint Iftar with Harmony in Diversity
Jepara, 22nd March 2024 – To welcoming the Holy Month Ramadhan, PT Bhumi Jati Power (“BJP”) and PT Bhumi Jepara Service (“BJS”) the owner and O&M company respectively of Tanjung Jati B Expansion (Jawa 4) Unit 5 & 6 were held the annual event of Buka Puasa Bersama. This event was held with the theme of “Harmony in Diversity” and takes place on Ono Joglo Hotel, Bandengan.
Around 338 Employees and Management of BJP-BJS were attending this agenda, including those who on shift work. To increase the feeling of togetherness and the availability of the participants, this event was divided into three batches on 19th March, 20th March, and 21st March. In addition, on the last day of Buka Puasa Bersama, there was a hand-over job ceremony from Mr. John Smart as BJS Station Manager to his successor, Mr. Hadi Suwasono.
The event was opened with speech by Mr. John Smart as the BJS Station Manager. In his speech he said that, “Diversity is bringing together people from different background, different country but we can be a solid team. BJP-BJS also represented it all”
Afterwards, Mr. Hadi Suwasono as BJP Site Project Manager also state in his speech that, “In fact, thorough this fasting, we can learn our sensitivity to hunger and be able to empathize with our brothers and sisters out there who are experiencing difficulties and lack of food. Let's be grateful for everything God has given to us."
On the last day, taking this opportunity as there will be a position change of Key Personnel, i.e. Station Manager in BJS organization, Mr. Taichi Ichise as the President Director of BJP & BJS also stated that, “I have known Pak Hadi for a long time, I know his capability and I hope that he can make our company to be better. What makes me happy also is that we have Indonesian Station Manager now. And for Mr. John, is our founding father for BJP-BJS. Thank you for your contribution.”
As the event goes, the participants enjoying their iftar accompanied by live music. To enliven the event, there was some mini-games with prizes as well. This event propose was to share joy and happiness of Ramadhan, and also to strengthen the relationship among employees. Hopefully the togetherness will bring a blessing to all of us.
